Q1. What are your hours of operation?

A. Generally, we are open Monday-Sunday round the clock (24 hrs) during Winter & Summer. For exact hours of operation, contact our Customer Care Officers at +91 9797424766.

Q2. What should I bring when I visit laboratory?

A. A Test Requisition Form (TRF) from a physician requesting the test. This order should include all required diagnosis information. For all those coming for tests related to insurance, please bring the current Insurance Identification Card, or a photo ID (e.g. driver's license, voter's ID etc.)

Q3. What can I expect at laboratory?

A. The lab technician will request the physician's written authorization to perform a lab test. The lab technician will determine the type of specimen needed. Often, a blood collection is necessary. Lab technicians are skilled at the collection of blood from the vein. Some brief, mild discomfort may be experienced when the sterile needle is inserted into the vein. Generally, the actual blood collection can be completed within one minute. The lab technician will label the specimens and send them to the laboratory.

Q4. Is any preparation required before a test?

A. Certain tests require specific preparations before they are performed. For more details, please go to the online instruction for the particular test you have to undergo or alternatively please get in touch with our Customer Care Officers.

Q5. How long will it take to get my results?

A. Depending on the test ordered, results are usually received within 24-48 hours. More complex testing may require additional time.

Q6. Are my results confidential?

A. Yes. We adhere to confidentiality of test result information. The laboratory report is handed to the patient/patient's relative(s) or in case of patients covered by insurance with insurance companies empanelled with us, the report is sent directly to the authorized official of the Insurance Company who has requested the test.

Q7. Who do I speak with regarding the results of my lab testing performed by laboratory?

A. If you are a patient, we suggest that you contact your doctor. Laboratory results are most useful when accompanied by additional clinical information your doctor will have.

Q8. Do you have facility for emergency reporting?

A. For the convenience of patients we have fixed the reporting time into two time slots -12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. A Doctor authorizing the test(s) or the patient himself/herself or the patient party may request for emergency reporting at the time of registration for the test and these test reports will be processed on STAT basis and results validated and issued to the patient/doctor on minimum possible time depending on technical limitations.

Q9. Do you have home visit facility?

A. Yes, we provide home visit facility for sample collection in a defined area. This facility covers patients who are rendered immobile and also VVIPs on security grounds if they make a formal request. A nominal fee is charged for availing these services.

Q10. How do I ascertain the charge for a laboratory test?

A. You must first find out what tests your doctor wants to be performed. You may visit our website: where details of tests are available. Then you may contact our Customer Care Officers to get an approximate fee.

Q11. What methods of payment do you accept?

A. As of now, we accept only cash payment.

Q12. Do you offer discounts on certain tests?

A. All patients who come to our laboratory for testing may avail of "TransAsia Privilege Card" which can be obtained on request from our Customer Care Officers manning the Reception Desk. Privilege Card holders are entitled to discounts on subsequent visits. TransAsia Health Packages" are also available at special discounted rates. Q13. Do you have special procedures for testing minors?

A. A parent or legal guardian should accompany minors. If you are bringing a minor to our laboratory and you are not the legal guardian, you will need a notarized statement signed by a parent or legal guardian authorizing you to give permission for the collection and billing of the tests ordered by the minor's physician.
